EX6, Game 217
EX6 were back in Xpert Champions League duty when they travelled to XCL ranked number one side Bolt Thrower, whom are managed by the current world number one manager. With the first leg finishing 1-1 at The Keith Bourne Memorial a win was a difficult ask but, with the bonus of a few Bolt Thrower players' suspensions, the Seasiders sensed an upset.

EX6 took the lead but were soon hauled back level so, with the tie level and all to play for, manager Rbjayb rallied his players with a 'believe the impossible' speech at half time to help rest a few nerves.

The manager brought on Jarvin at half time and that helped the gulf in strength in midfield to balance out a bit better; star striker Camconi was then brought on with half hour to go as the young striker Neves was running out of steam, and this was a telling moment in the game.

With the time up and three minutes of injury time played EX6 broke forward. Jarvin played a delightful ball which was flicked on into the path of Camconi, who gave the keeper the eyes and slotted home from 12 yards. The EX6 supporters went into raptures, and as soon as the restart was blown by the referee for play to continue he blew for full time.

After the scalp of one of the favourites, Zabriskie Point, in the Round Of 16 was taken the biggest scalp of all was then achieved as Bolt Thrower were cruelly disposed of: to the delight of manager Rbjayb.

The manager spoke to the waiting press:

"With the suspensions for METALLAC it was going to be difficult but they still possessed a beastly midfield and a potent strikeforce. A  few eyebrows were raised in our dressing room and around the world when he selected a 3-5-2 formation, and eventually we wore them down.

"Maybe with our brave performance at the home of the number 1 manager in the world and the highest ranked team in the XCL, we deserve to go through. We are delighted.

"From the start of the campaign the XCL Quarter Finals was the minimum target set by the board, but it wasnt in our dressing room as we thought we should be going further. There is another massive scalp ahead for us and just a reminder to any doubters, take a look at our previous results"
