No transfer = big news

Apparently poachers saw Ashandarei's sale of several players in recent weeks as an invitation to see if other players, that hadn't even been put up for transfer, could be picked up as well. And it was no surprise they decided to come after one of our most promising young talents, Luciliano Postiga. However, we quickly killed the notion that he could be acquired because no one is for sale at the moment and certainly not Postiga, who represents the future of the team's defense. Sure, he will need a couple more seasons to mature, but it is clear he will be a superstar in a couple of seasons so why would we sell him, let alone for a suboptimal offer... Postiga, who has been given a vote of confidence by manager Aemon in recent matches, reacted positively and affirmed that he wants to stay with the club longterm. In fact he appeared to be so happy to play for Ashandarei that he performed even better in practice, something we're sure to see on the field during next fridays match. Yes, I think it's fair to say that our future is bright with young guys like Postiga and also Helmer Lifmark leading a new generation of young talent.
