18, Key To The Door.

Well it's taken 18 seasons in charge of 2-Tone Army for manager Winnywinny to finally open the door and lift the Golden League Trophy but at yesterdays end of season ceremony that's just what he did. It was a good day all round for 2-Tone actually as they received 1.000.000 for winning the league,200.000 for achieving 4 MOTR awards and Bernado Luisi won most points and assists and the top scorer award which netting the club a further 500.000.  Funds will still be low come the beginning of next season but at least now they get to have a good piss up party and then a couple of training sessions.  Said manager Winnywinny  "It turned out to be a very easy season really with only Trambolhos SAD pushing all the way, we were fortunate to come up against last seasons Champions Fortuna Killepitsch and Prestwich Heys whilst they're both in a mini rebuild.  The 2 highest skilled sides, Rangers and Olypigue Lyon both had a very disappointing season so much so that Lyon finished bottom and Rangers only narrowly missed the drop.  Another disappointment will be Viggan and Nasty FC leaving the top tier, both have a League Title to their names and it is hoped that both will return before too long. Anyway thanks to all of you who congratulated me on my success and to those of you who never your only jealous ;) Also Commiserations to SAD's manager Deepipe who certainly gave me a run for my money and a big well done for those teams who gained promotion into the top flight.   What will be my goal for next season!  Well the pressure is off in the League, it would be nice to retain the title but having now won it the pressure is off.  In the XCL we plan to just enjoy the experience and just see what happens and in the Cup I pray for a very quick exit." 2-TONE ARMY ~ JUST A PUB TEAM AND HAVING A LAUGH.
