Join a league
|
If you want to join a leauge there are a couple of different alternatives. Either you have been invited by someone you know who has given you a leagueID which you use to find the league in “Find league” in the menu. If instead you want to join a league where you do not know the league admin, we recommend
that you join one of our Xpert leagues which you find by choosing
“Xpert leagues” in the menu. You can also search among the public leagues in "Find league" if you choose "Advanced search".
There you can search among leagues with a higher league rating which have vacant teams and are open to everyone. Note that we do not guarantee the quality of these leagues and there is also the possibility that they might be closed down. All leagues except the Xpert leagues are run entirely by the individual league admins who may
close them down whenever they want to. You can also check the league contact forum to see if there are any leagues seeking members
When you have found a league you want to join the process varies a little depending on the status of the league. If the current status is “between seasons”, “end of season” or “not yet started” it is all ready for you to join the league and you will be forwarded to a form where you apply for a completely new team in the league. If the current status is
“Season in progress” you may only join if there are any vacancies and then you take over a team in its current condition. You can however examine the
team before you apply for it. You get a list of the available teams and by clicking a team's name you
will see the players, the teams current league position and its finances.
In the “Team application form” you enter the name of your team and the
name of their home ground. You also choose the coulors of the team kit. These details you can change at any time by choosing the menualternative"Team
settings" on your team page. The name of the team must however be approved by
the league admin and in the Xpert Leagues team names can only be changed between seasons. If you apply for a completely new team in a league that
allows multiple nationalities you can also choose the nationality of your team.
When you have made your choices you continue by clicking the “team registry” button and as long as the team name is not already taken by any other team in
the league, the application will be sent to the league
admin.
As soon as your application is approved you will recive an email to the adress you have
registered at Xpert Eleven. Then you can log on to your team, see your players and meet the other members in the league. Your team must however have a main sponsor who pays for player salaries, ground rent etc. You will therefore come to a page where you choose a main sponsor to sign a contract with. When this is done you will recieve 250 000 econ and enter the league you have joined. Now you will be able to see your team and meet your players.
If a league is in mid season you can only apply for a new team if there is less than to weeks left of the season. However there is, as mentioned before, also the possibility to join a league by taking over a team that has been inactivated by the league admin. Such a team you take over in its current state but it will change its name and the colour of the team
kit to what you chose in your application. You can also change
the name and coulors by using the menualternative "Team Settings" on the team page.
